Maintenance Technician I

Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority - Centennial Airport

Starting Range:  $21.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on level of experience) plus excellent benefits after 60 days.

This is a full-time employment opportunity for a general laborer to perform a variety of semi-skilled or unskilled general labor duties including grounds & building maintenance, operating a variety of vehicles & light or heavy equipment.

A viable candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English; have the flexibility to be on-call during inclement weather and to work alternate shifts including weekends for snow removal, mowing and other special projects that may arise. Typical work schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements:  Valid Colorado Driver’s License, High School diploma or GED. Previous experience in any of the following activities a plus: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, sprinkler repair, preventive vehicle maintenance, janitorial, heavy equipment operation, radio communications or airport maintenance experience. 

May be required to pass the FAA 10-year criminal background check and Drug Test. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).  Click here for an Application for Employment form.
