Maintenance Technician I

Entry Level Position

Starting Salary: $14.30 - $14.75 per hour + excellent benefits after 90 days

DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS:

This is a full-time employment opportunity for a general laborer to perform a variety of semi-skilled & unskilled general labor duties including grounds & building maintenance, operating & maintaining a variety of vehicles & equipment.

The position requires basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, sprinkler repair, preventive vehicle maintenance, arc & gas welding, and radio communications. Typical work schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Ability to work alternate shifts including weekends for snow removal, mowing, and other necessary projects; and be on-call during inclement weather.

Valid Colorado Driver’s License, High School or GED plus two years building or construction maintenance experience including heavy equipment operation required. Fluency in both written and spoken English required. May be required to pass the FAA 10-year criminal background check.

Airport Management Internship

The Airport Management Internship positions are currently filled. The Airport Authority expects the next position to become available during the Winter of 2012.

 

Centennial Airports Airport Management Intership is a fulltime, yearlong commitment for those pursuing a career in airport management. The intern will spend six months in operations and six months in planning and development. Applicants should have either a degree in an aviation related field or obtained Senior status and is currently enrolled in a 4-year aviation degree program.
