MEETING UPDATE: Centennial Airport Community Noise Roundtable

The Centennial Airport Community Noise Roundtable will meet, as usual, Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn and Suites. However, the FAA has just advised us they do not plan to attend this meeting, so there will be no DEN Metroplex briefing from FAA staff. 

However, Airport Director Robert Olislagers will provide a short briefing on the Metroplex project and where the airport stands, to date.

 

MEDIA ADVISORY: Airport, SMFR to conduct live burn training

Centennial Airport and South Metro Fire Rescue will conduct a brief "live burn" aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) training exercise on Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 1 - 4 p.m.

Training will occur on airport property, west of RWY 17R/35L, at the training fuselage.

Passing vehicles and neighboring businesses should expect to see smoke and emergency vehicles concentrated near the training site.

This exercise is closed to the public and to media.
