FAA Part 150 Noise Study Complete!

The FAA has issued the Record of Approval (ROA) for Centennial Airport’s Part 150 Noise Exposure and Land Use Compatibility Program. In the ROA, FAA determined that the overall program complies with Federal requirements, including the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act of 1979 and 14 CFR Part 150. Therefore, FAA approved the overall program on August 12, 2008. The ROA also presents the FAA’s determination on each of the program’s 12 recommendations.

We expect the ROA to be published in the Federal Register within the next couple of weeks. Centennial Airport staff is currently reviewing the ROA and looks forward to implementing the FAA approved recommendations in the future.
