Tenant special events requests
Online form streamlines notification process for tenants
TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2016 | AIRPORT STAFF
Centennial Airport is home to many spectacular events, both public and private—some for fun, and some for some pretty awesome charity causes. While we don't need to be invited, we do need to work closely with you to ensure the safety, security and efficient operation of the airport continues while your guests and clients enjoy themselves. To help streamline things, we've developed this online special event request form that works as, both, a checklist and a notification letter. Event planners working directly with Centennial Airport tenants should complete this form at least 30 days prior to the event.

APA to launch oral history project
Two-year endeavor builds foundation for upcoming 50th anniversary
MONDAY, MAY 9, 2016 | AIRPORT STAFF
For almost 50 years, Centennial Airport has been a vibrant part of Colorado's history, culture and economy. As part of the airport's commitment to the future, staff plans to honor Centennial Airport's past with a 24-month oral history project to collect and preserve airport stories and memories, creating an online archive that will be available to the public. Stories and oral testimonies will be collected through the next 18 months, fact checked, transcribed and, eventually presented at a May 2018 event, celebrating the airport's 50th anniversary. Those interested in sharing their story, or contributing photos and documents, should complete a pre-interview questionnaire.
